The Susquehanna River shared her fruits today as my anglers from the caymen islands experienced their first freshwater fishing outing. They hooked several smallies during the day and even a big catfish which made a drag screaming run before breaking one of the anglers line. With all things in our favor toward the end of the day everything came together and they even managed to catch 2 fish at the same time to end the day with a smile and a nice picture. To experience summer time fishing here on the Susky Give us call to get "Get Bent and Sling Some String!" Tight Lines EVeryone! -----<*)}}}}}}><

Susquehanna Fly and Spin Fishing Report: This past week had mixed
results as one of the days we had smallies and catfish feeding in a short 2 hour
period just before the storms came through the area. The next day I had a
fly charter for an excellent double hauling father and son team, it
took all day to get a few smallies and a couple catfish to bite and make it to
the boat. Nun the less we had a great time, a few laughs, and even got a couple
nice pictures. If you catch the bite right, it can be good! Give us a call
to get in on the hot summer action!

Susquehanna River fishing report for July fourth

May 3, 2010 Susquehanna River Fly and Spin
Fishing Report: A charter cancellation this rainy morning meant i got to fish today on my own and what a great day it was fishing current areas with a nice size walleye and a bunch of smallmouths making it to the boat on a variety of lures and flies. The catching was cut short as an impressive mid day storm passed through pushing me back to the boat ramp for an early day. Still some dates available and the fishing is good! April 15, 2010 Susquehanna Fly and Spin Fishing Report:
With all the Great Smallmouith Bass fishing this past week, I decided to take an afternoon off dedcided that today would be a good day to change it up a bit and target large Common Carp and with everything working for us we Got one to the boat. These fish are one of the most under estimated powerhouses of freshwater fishing as far as I'm concerned. Its ability to refuse a presentation makes it a worthy advisary. We will be flyfishing for them through summer and into the fall months. If you wanna give them a try give us a Call. Get Bent and Sling some String! With the temps in the 50's to 60's over the weekend it was tough not being out on the water as I was in a show booth In New York and also At Gander Mountain promoting Susquehanna Fly and Spin Guide Service over the weekend. I still managed to sneak out by myself this monday afternoon for a couple hours of fly fishing and was able to do what I like best which is sling some string for smallmouth bass. For those of you wanting to get out for the early spring and spring bite, call soon for available dates as they filling up fast! --------Tight Lines Everyone!--------<*)}}}}}><

March 3, 2010 Susquehanna River Fly and
Spin Fishing Trip Report: Today's angler from North Carolina had a
chance to boat a couple decent fish ranging from 14"-17"as well as a
couple walleye which eluded us but were were lipping our baits leaving
behind their toothy impressions. Other anglers reported no fish or much of the
same, slow fishing and a quick biting period then shutting off. Some days
you get the fish and some days the fish get you. Thats Fishing! With
warming temps coming over the weekend fishing should improve and yeild higher
numbers of fish. We'll be out over the weekend taking advantage of the
warmer temps. Check back with us for more fishing reports! Tight Lines

Susquehanna Fly and Spin fishing Report: Ice Ice Baby, was the stage today as we ventured out for an afternoon of fishing. After dodging and casting between ice chunks and sheet ice we brought some small walleye up to 17" to the boat along with this nice Cat who had my angler yelling "fish on" as he reeled this beauty in for a picture and a release. Give us a call to hook-up with some of these mid winter fish, or reserve at date for the upcoming warmer months. Tight Lines----<*)}}}}}}}>< Everyone!
